About the Opportunity

Jerry.ai is seeking a Director, Business Operations & Strategy (Marketplace Growth) to drive the scaling of our core insurance business. Having achieved profitability in early 2024, we have ambitious goals to expand from 5 million to 50 million customers and become a $10 billion business.

In this high-visibility role, you will report directly to the VP of Insurance Operations, Josh Damico (ex-GEICO). You will own the systems, strategy, and execution for Jerry’s quoting engine, automation infrastructure, and carrier performance. Collaborating with product, engineering, and analytics teams, your focus will be on creating a seamless user experience and ensuring ongoing carrier success to achieve critical outcomes for our insurance marketplace, including loss ratio, retention, and conversion. This is a unique opportunity to shape the strategy of a category-defining fintech company at scale.

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or intellectually rigorous discipline.
• 5-7 years of management consulting experience from a top firm (McKinsey, Bain, and Boston Consulting Group preferred) and/or relevant leadership experience within product/operations in a high-growth, tech-enabled environment.
• Experience in an earlier-stage startup environment is strongly preferred, though not required.
