Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess significant experience in marketplace strategy, with a proven track record of driving revenue and profitability across multiple online platforms, particularly Amazon and Walmart. Strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of marketplace best practices, including data-driven decision-making and performance optimization, are essential. Experience with Amazon Advertising (AMS) and Walmart Connect strategies is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

As the Director of Marketplaces, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketplace strategy across Amazon, Walmart, and emerging marketplaces, including identifying new opportunities and building a roadmap for expansion. You will oversee listing optimization, pricing strategies, and inventory management, while managing relationships with platform account managers and our agency partner. Additionally, you will develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), create monthly revenue forecasts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive and integrated marketplace strategy, optimizing campaign structures to improve efficiency and maximize ROI while adhering to marketplace policies.
