Requirements

  • 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD
  • Preferred: 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
  • Experience selling B2B Payment Acceptance solutions with large strategic suppliers
  • Proven experience in business development, strategic partnerships
  • Strategic thinker and proactive relationship builder with strong financial acumen and a deep understanding of B2B payment ecosystems

Responsibilities

  • Identify B2B Acceptance opportunities, gain access to key decision makers, develop and execute strategies to move opportunities through the pipeline, and effectively manage a pipeline
  • Develop and execute strategies to identify and re-engage suppliers whose spend has declined or shifted away from the Visa network
  • Build compelling value propositions for Visa acceptance tailored to supplier and buyer needs
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., issuer relationship management, merchant team, supplier enablement, acquirer relations, product) to identify new opportunities, remove onboarding barriers and accelerate adoption
  • Ensure merchants/suppliers are optimizing their acceptance environment though use of appropriate tools/solutions
  • Lead deep analytics and deal-modeling leadership, by partnering closely with regional Account Executives and Business Development Associates, Pricing and other functions
  • Monitor and report on supplier engagement metrics and spend recovery trends
  • Recruit senior leaders at corporations to attend Visa forums and events
  • Represent Visa at industry events
