About the Opportunity

As the Director, Business Development and Partnerships, you will be instrumental in growing and strengthening our partner ecosystem. You will manage existing partnerships, identify new high-value collaborations, and propose innovative solutions to unlock scalable opportunities. This role requires close collaboration with product, operations, data, and sales teams to execute partnership strategies. You will report directly to the VP of Partnerships and play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of our partnerships.

Jerry is building a super app to optimize all aspects of car ownership, a $2T market in the U.S. Since its inception in 2019, the company has expanded its offerings to include loan refinancing, driving insights, a repair marketplace, car diagnostics, and a GenAI-powered chatbot & voicebot. The company has over 5 million customers, has raised $240 million in funding, achieved 60X revenue growth, and has a team of 225 across 6 countries.

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Foster Strong Partner Relationships: Serve as the primary point of contact to build and nurture deep, trusted relationships with existing partners.
  • Drive Strategic Growth: Develop and execute structured business plans or quarterly OKRs tailored to each partner's unique goals, maximizing the potential of strategic partnerships.
  • Optimize Performance: Utilize analytical skills to analyze data, uncover trends, and identify key opportunities to improve business KPIs, driving smarter decisions and better outcomes.
  • Generate New Opportunities: Lead the creation of new growth opportunities with both existing and potential partners, using negotiation expertise to structure mutually beneficial deals.
  • Deliver Actionable Insights: Conduct analysis and provide regular updates and valuable insights to partners and internal teams to ensure alignment and informed decision-making.
  • Resolve Challenges Quickly: Act as the problem-solver for operational and executional issues across partners and internal teams, ensuring smooth operations.

Ideal Profile

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 6+ years of experience in Business Development, Partnerships, or Management Consulting (McKinsey, Bain, or Boston Consulting Group preferred).
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from inception to completion with meticulous attention to detail and a strong bias for action.
  • A proactive and driven individual with a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn and adapt quickly, and a desire to contribute to a high-growth company.
  • A data-driven approach to decision-making, with the ability to analyze complex situations and make informed, actionable decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
