Requirements

Candidates must possess at least 10 years of work experience in debt/capital markets or credit analysis/research, with a proven track record of analytical excellence and subject matter expertise in capital markets, ratings criteria, and analytical processes. A Bachelor of Arts or Science degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is required, with a graduate degree preferred. Strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks, effective stakeholder relationship management, and technical skills for data analysis are essential. Proficiency with Excel, SQL, R, and Python is a plus.

Responsibilities

The Director will lead the review and validation of S&P Global Ratings' methodologies, models, and criteria, ensuring their integrity and reliability. This includes assessing the validity of methodological frameworks, designing and conducting tests for logical soundness and calibration, and researching credit trends and sector risks. Responsibilities also involve collaborating with and directing team members, creating reports and presentations for senior management, acting as a reviewer and approver of validation reports, supporting analytical training, and leading projects to enhance analytic risk analysis.
