Requirements

  • Deep understanding of customer's business, including payment strategy across all product platforms
  • Understanding of market payments trends and their implications on client's business
  • Ability to leverage data and analytics for identifying issues and opportunities (e.g., benchmarking)
  • Proficiency in utilizing CRM tools to document account activity, opportunities, and initiatives
  • Experience in managing portfolios across Consumer Credit, Consumer Debit, Business Credit, Business Debit, and Commercial Payments in Canada and US
  • Accountability for commercial payments and Debit segments
  • Ability to develop roadmaps and sales strategies for new services/enhancements
  • Skills in preparing proposals and negotiating contractual relationships

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute customized annual account plans to increase sales volume, deepen Visa product penetration, and drive client engagement
  • Ensure implementation of annual goals and plans
  • Provide consultative insight to inform client strategies and improve performance
  • Create new sales and revenue-generating opportunities
  • Expand existing relationships/partnerships and develop new ones within accounts across key lines of business
  • Continuously review client and Visa objectives to recommend, develop, and implement new approaches to growing mutual businesses
  • Foster productive relationships at all levels with clients and Visa organization
  • Assist marketing and product development to launch new products or expand penetration of existing products
  • Actively participate and lead ad-hoc internal projects
  • Participate in sales meetings and training activities
  • Assist with management of existing portfolios across Canada and US
  • Take accountability for commercial payments and Debit segment and drive growth in priority segments
  • Manage relationship and drive growth opportunities with client's digital subsidiary
  • Sell new product opportunities (CMS, Risk/fraud tools, Advisory and Marketing services, Innovation, Product extensions) in partnership with Visa Specialized Sellers
  • Develop roadmap and sales strategy to sell new services/enhancements
  • Support generating and conducting periodic business performance meetings for key lines of business to discuss performance, identify growth opportunities, and new product sales
  • Partner with Visa SME to create growth-focused agendas, prepare materials, and deliver meetings
  • Prepare proposals and negotiate contractual relationships for new products and services
  • Manage allocation, tracking, and timely use of annual incentives
