Requirements

  • 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
  • Preferred: 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree
  • Preferred: 1-2 years of sales or relevant experience
  • Preferred: Experience in payments industry
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong proficiency (at least C1) in Portuguese
  • Basic understanding of digital sales or related concepts

Responsibilities

  • Build, own, and manage relationships with a large territory of longtail accounts as a full sales cycle seller
  • Drive sales/upsell/cross-sell across all Visa products and solutions, including virtual engagement and system touchpoints
  • Drive sales growth within your client portfolio by understanding and integrating their strategic objectives and providing tailored solutions
  • Lead business development initiatives to expand Visa’s customer base in Portugal and other European markets
  • Manage existing customer accounts, identify new business opportunities, maintain account plans, and create presentation materials applicable to all levels of the client organization
  • Forecast sales and have knowledge of sales cycles from initial contact through the procurement process, ensuring sales tools are utilized appropriately and maintained regularly
  • Participate in client communications and develop and deliver client presentations using phone, video conferencing, digital whiteboards, and webcasts
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and government regulations that may affect assigned territory
  • Collaborate with digital sales team to develop new business strategies and tactics; participate in ongoing digital sales trainings
  • Meet and exceed weekly, monthly, and quarterly targets and KPIs
  • Effectively communicate Visa’s value proposition across multiple products and solutions
