Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth through proactive outreach, relationship building, and strategic sales tactics
  • Deliver a positive customer experience using the SailPoint sales model
  • Maximize revenue in target accounts
  • Collaborate with field sales counterparts (Outside Account Executives, SEs, Channel Partners, etc.) to penetrate new accounts and cross-sell into existing accounts
  • Complete onboarding milestones (e.g., Getting Started Checklist, Revenue Onboarding Coursework, Challenger Sales Training, Identity University courses)
  • Familiarize with company org chart, business functions, and teams
  • Learn and refine the SailPoint pitch
  • Meet and collaborate with key stakeholders (Digital Sales team, AEs, Marketing, Channel, Sales Leadership, buddy, manager)
  • Shadow discovery calls and listen in on calls
  • Gain familiarity with digital tech stack tools (e.g., LinkedIn, 6Sense, TechTarget, ZoomInfo, Outreach, Salesforce)
  • Demonstrate prospecting efforts, uncover corporate insights and persona-based imperatives
  • Sequence prospects (outbound and inbound), action leads within SLAs, and convert to opportunities in Salesforce
  • Conduct discovery calls, book calls, and create opportunities
  • Align and map top accounts
  • Achieve funnel, pipeline targets, and core KPIs via KPI Dashboard
  • Close deals
