Requirements

  • University degree in IT, Engineering, or Medical Sciences
  • Several years of Sales experience in the Health Care IT environment: knowledge of technologies, products, processes, and selling/purchasing in the hospital environment, competitor and market awareness (experience in Imaging and Digital Pathology is an advantage)
  • Understanding of LIS, HIS, PACS, and other hospital and laboratory information systems
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Dutch, written and spoken (French is a plus)
  • Willing to travel within defined territory up to 60% of the time
  • Understanding of the requirements and importance of following procedures and processes in a highly regulated sector by IVDR, FDA, and other governmental bodies (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Execute the regional Digital Pathology business strategy, with a specific focus on market share capture
  • Partner with the Account Managers team to manage Digital Pathology sales opportunities at the regional level in large and medium-size competitive accounts across the entire funnel process from lead to implementation
  • Build and deliver Digital Pathology projects that match customer needs and expectations
  • Partner continuously with the Sales Enablement Manager, Regional Sales Managers, and EMEA Digital Pathology & Workflow Team to ensure consistent above-market growth
  • Liaise with customer IT departments to effectively design and implement the Digital Pathology solution
  • Research and develop new opportunities to increase Leica Biosystems' market share
  • Support the tender response team on the technical application process
  • Effectively develop the growth of the regional Digital Pathology business in Benelux, ensuring the implementation of the DP strategy, owning and leading the regional activity to win business from new accounts and existing Leica customers
