Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science (minimum required); Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or higher (preferred)
  • Less than 1 year of related experience (required); 1 or more years of related experience (preferred)
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Proficiency in CAD and CAM software for designing and programming manufacturing processes
  • Proficiency in PLM systems for managing product lifecycles
  • Proficiency in simulation and data analysis software
  • Proficiency in automation technologies and basic programming knowledge
  • Intermediate verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and statistical analysis skills; skills in Statistical Process Control (SPC) software
  • Intermediate decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Proactive with ability to work in a cross-discipline team environment
  • Understanding of Structured Design
  • Familiarity with lab tool/test/measurement equipment (preferred)
  • Willingness to travel less than 40%

Responsibilities

  • Develop high-quality, cost-appropriate manufacturing solutions that meet customer requirements
  • Utilize appropriate tools and equipment for creation, analysis, and verification of work
  • Demonstrate clear understanding of Plexus Manufacturing processes and Product Requirements & Specifications
  • Execute responsibilities in adherence to Plexus’ Manufacturing Processes
  • Produce comprehensive project documentation based on project needs and quality/change management procedures
  • Optimize and manage manufacturing operations using digital technologies (automation, data analytics, simulation, machine learning) to improve efficiency, quality, and agility
