Position Overview
OLIVER is a rapidly expanding creative services agency with a unique model: we provide clients with bespoke, dedicated agencies operating from within their offices. We are seeking a creative Digital Designer, proficient in digital design, to join a team focused on transforming client digital marketing capabilities. This role requires the ability to produce e-commerce, user interface webpage designs, and social media designs, including engaging social imagery, e-commerce advertising, eDM designs, illustrations, and basic motion graphics.
Responsibilities
- Create, design, and develop digital assets for interactive campaigns, including email, microsites, landing pages, social media, e-commerce channels, online banner advertising, and other projects, ensuring designs remain on-brand.
- Develop engaging and visually appealing user interface designs, demonstrating a strong understanding of user flows, customer-centric design principles, and the ability to collaborate with Project Managers, Content Strategists, copywriters, and UX Designers.
- Confidently present work with sound rationale, showcasing a solid understanding of user flows, digital best practices, and user requirements.
- Produce basic motion graphics and videos for social channels.
- Collaborate with the existing team to ensure designs are innovative and continuously optimized for digital channels.
- Ensure all work adheres to digital best practices.
- Continuously push creative boundaries by utilizing cutting-edge design styles and embracing new design trends.
- Adopt a mobile-first mindset in all design work.
- Be an innovative and creative thinker, actively encouraging new and emerging design trends within the team.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of combined experience as a digital designer.
- Proficiency in producing e-commerce assets, digital, and social media content, demonstrable through a wide and varied portfolio.
- Experience delivering B2C digital collateral in a fast-paced and iterative environment.
- Excellent understanding of the technical constraints and design regulations for e-commerce, user interface designs, and social media assets.
- Basic motion graphics and video editing skills are important.
- Ability to comfortably work as part of an onsite team.
- Confidence to present a clear design rationale with their work.
- A creative and confident individual who will actively participate in brainstorming sessions to drive digital excellence.
- Knowledge of interaction design, mobile design, user-centered experience design, brand development, digital marketing, and the creative process.
- Ability to produce work that follows brand guidelines.
- Good verbal and written English communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage workload effectively.
