The role is based in multiple locations in Texas including Longview, Gladewater, Henderson, and others, indicating on-site work at fleet maintenance facilities.
Candidates need 3 years of experience as a technician working on heavy-duty trucks, ability to perform inspections and repairs without supervision in systems like suspensions & steering, general engine, transmissions, brakes, electrical, hydraulics, drive train, and diesel emissions. ASE Heavy Truck Certifications (T1-T8), LNG/CNG experience, and Class B or higher CDL are pluses but not required.
The position involves a second shift with a $2 shift differential.
Strong candidates have 3+ years of heavy-duty truck experience, advanced skills in repairing chassis, refuse bodies, engines, brakes, suspension, drivetrain, steering, and HVAC systems, plus a valid driver's license. Experience with electronic diagnostic tools and ability to work independently on complex repairs will stand out.
