Experience with GitOps tools such as FluxCD and ArgoCD is required, along with prior experience building internal platform engineering tools using Python or Go. Candidates should have experience deploying applications to Kubernetes using tools like Helm or Kustomize, and familiarity with Docker and Containers is essential. Experience working on production-level services on AWS and on-call responsibilities are also required.
The DevOps Engineer will advance pipeline services to enhance the developer experience, providing necessary controls for auditing and reporting. They will automate and continuously improve service delivery through Infrastructure as Code, working with tooling teams to ensure consistency with regulatory needs. The role involves contributing to technical forums and advancing best practices, and managing the lifecycle of Kubernetes clusters via Terraform. Furthermore, the Engineer will collaborate to ensure the reliability and efficiency of Vonage's systems and contribute to the overall operational excellence of the platform.
