Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a DevOps role with a focus on automation and infrastructure management. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash or Python is required, along with experience implementing infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. Strong knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes is also essential, as is experience with CI/CD pipeline development and configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef. Familiarity with security best practices and disaster recovery planning is beneficial.
As a DevOps Engineer, the primary responsibility is to deliver technical solutions from project onboarding to post-launch support, collaborating with multiple delocalized project teams across various regions. This includes implementing infrastructure as code, designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, utilizing containerization and orchestration technologies, developing automation scripts, managing configuration, ensuring security and compliance, setting up monitoring and logging, and managing cloud infrastructure resources on platforms like AWS. The role also involves collaborating with development and operations teams to optimize deployment processes and ensuring smooth transitions into production, as well as contributing to disaster recovery planning and procedures.
