Requirements
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 5 years of DevOps Engineering or Software Development experience, preferably with Java. A current TS/SCI U.S. Government Security clearance with a CI Polygraph is required, along with U.S. citizenship and DoD 8140 / 8570 compliance certification such as a Security+ certification. Experience with AWS services, Linux, Kubernetes, and configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet is also required, as is the ability to work on-site in Ft. Belvoir, VA.
Responsibilities
The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for supporting the development and deployment of infrastructure in AWS, automating deployment processes to ensure reliability and scalability of services, managing and maintaining cloud infrastructure, collaborating with development teams to integrate applications, monitoring and troubleshooting production systems, continuously improving processes and tools, and staying current with new technologies and industry trends. They will also assist with opening and closing workspaces as needed.
