Requirements

Deep expertise in writing Terraform/OpenTofu modules
Familiarity with Terragrunt
Experience testing infrastructure as code
5+ years of experience in software engineering
Deep expertise with Kubernetes, and EKS in particular
Extensive experience writing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform/OpenTofu
Strong communication skills in English
Ability to work a flexible number of hours (average ~15 hours/week)
Ability to respond to support and maintenance requests within a 1-2 business day SLA
Ability to write Golang and Bash (nice to have)

Responsibilities

Writing and maintaining OpenTofu IaC code library within the Kubernetes and Networking “subject matter expertise”
Participating in business-hours only support within specific subject matter expertise area
Resolving customer tickets and knowledge base posts
Keeping GitHub issues and external PRs up to date
Ensuring modules are kept up to date with 3rd party tool releases
Creating and maintaining a clean GitHub Project backlog
Teaching Gruntwork and DevOps best-practices
Automating and documenting solutions to mitigate future problems
Contributing to open source projects, including Terragrunt, Terratest, cloud-nuke, bash-commons, boilerplate, and more
Providing world-class customer support
