Requirements

Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience in Computer Science
Experience with Infrastructure technologies (Examples: Linux, Windows, VMware, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
Configuration management experience with one or more tools such as Puppet, Chef, Ansible
Experience with Linux engineering and administration for thousands of bare metal servers and virtual machines
Ability to troubleshoot server hardware issues
Familiarity with large-scale production deployments of servers and applications inside internal datacenter
Ability to read and write moderate to complex scripts and programs for automation, tools, frameworks, dashboards, alarms (common uses: Python, Perl, PHP, JavaScript, Go)
Experience writing technical documentation
Self-learning capabilities, taking initiative in a fast-paced/quickly changing environment
Ability to work effectively and professionally with cross-functional groups across divisions, worldwide, as part of a team
Team-player, positive attitude and flexible with a distributed team in multiple time zones
Meticulous attention to detail, and ability to make good, timely decisions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

Understand complex technical systems architecture and help make recommendations for improvement
Participate in on-call rotation with other team members
Engineer and maintain solutions for production systems environments
