ReadMe is hiring a Developer Marketer to build on a brand that developers already love. You’ll help strengthen our voice, ensuring that every marketing initiative—from product launches to community engagement—feels authentic, playful, and developer-first. Your work will keep ReadMe top of mind, reinforcing the trust and excitement our users already have for our product. We’re a small team of humans (and one owl) working together to do big things, and we’re growing fast! That’s where you come in. Since we’re a startup, you’ll make a big impact on ReadMe both in the daily responsibilities of your role and beyond.

What You'll Do

  • Build on our brand: Cement ReadMe as a beloved brand among developers.
  • Connect with developers: Work with developers and naturally spend time in those circles.
  • Grow our community: Engage with our Slack community, weekly office hours, and in-person events.
  • Launch products: Be part of the journey from the beginning, ensuring customers share in our excitement.
  • Content Creation: Produce various content – live streams, video tutorials, blog posts, Bluesky updates, and more.
  • Events: Plan and execute memorable events, from intimate meetups to large conferences like API Mixtape.
  • Keep ReadMe Weird: Develop unique and engaging marketing ideas.
