Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to articulate learning needs, learning agendas, and research roadmaps
  • Track research questions and insights within your portfolio
  • Understand the tower’s strategy and needs to prioritize research activities including primary research, knowledge mapping, assessments, and testing
  • Maintain close relationships with research peers across the line of business to identify opportunities to re-use learnings and collaborate on research serving multiple programs
  • Enable focus, transparency, and expectations for design research practice across cross-functional portfolio to accelerate learning velocity
  • Navigate needs of partners and stakeholders using critical-thinking skills that factor in data, research insights, scalability, and tech constraints to deliver meaningful, actionable insights and track insights-to-action
  • Demonstrate proficiency with products and processes and apply relevant insights on customers, competitors, and market trends to business challenges to shape a shared point of view for team, partners, and stakeholders
  • Use solid understanding of tech, data capabilities, and emerging technologies to inform work, help cross-functional team move faster, and navigate technical limitations for impactful solutions
  • Leverage network of partnerships across lines of business and organization to foster collaboration, share solutions, and incorporate cross-functional perspectives to bridge information gaps
  • Present work across levels and job functions using human-centered approach integrating design frameworks, data, and research insights to articulate compelling point of view influencing strategic decision-making at senior levels
