Requirements

  • Expertise in developing baseline demand forecasts based on demand patterns and business trends
  • Ability to perform market analysis and determine customer demands
  • Proficiency in building and sense-checking baseline and promo forecasts, performing root cause analysis, and providing permanent resolutions
  • Knowledge of forecasting and reporting systems to maintain integrity and improve forecast accuracy
  • Understanding of supply chain initiatives, lean culture projects, product discontinuances, SKU rationalization, and E&O reduction
  • Skills in facilitating Demand Review meetings and preparing ad-hoc analysis
  • Experience with rolling 36-month demand forecasts and customer portals (forecast, inventory, POs, returns, sales diagnostics, performance)

Responsibilities

  • Ensure future customer demand is reflected in the planning tool and advise the Supply team on customer needs
  • Work closely with D2C team to ensure forecasts are visible in the system respecting lead times, chase issues, and build consensus plans
  • Prepare ad-hoc analysis for Business Leads
  • Ensure active use of Customer portal for data such as forecasts, inventory levels, purchase orders, returns, sales diagnostics, and operational performance
  • Facilitate and drive Demand Review meetings with local Commercial and Finance teams
  • Work with Project Teams across the organization to support changing business needs (e.g., logistics changes, demand structure rationalization)
  • Closely collaborate and build relations with other functions (e.g., Supply Chain Directors, regional DFMs) and lead the team in achieving the same
  • Establish and maintain relationships with Commercial teams for consensus on promo activities plans
  • Ensure system reflects rolling 36-month demand forecast
  • Drive optimal forecast accuracy to achieve targets
  • Action market phase-outs and support product discontinuances, SKU rationalization, and E&O reduction
  • Align and support supply chain initiatives and lean culture projects
  • Build and proactively maintain relationships with supply chain colleagues across the region
  • Constantly seek opportunities for process improvements
  • Support onboarding of new team members
  • Build development plans for the team
