Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field, along with a minimum of 3 years of experience in demand planning or forecasting. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in statistical modeling techniques are required, as well as experience with demand planning software and tools. Familiarity with ERP systems and supply chain principles is preferred.
The Demand Planner will execute the Owens & Minor Product & Healthcare Services (P&HS) Demand Planning processes and collaborate with cross-functional teams to generate accurate demand plans. They will develop and maintain demand planning models, monitor and audit automated Market Insight processes, utilize historical data and market trends for forecasting, and support New Customer Onboarding. The Demand Planner will also collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams, monitor KPIs, and lead process improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma principles, while proactively identifying risks and opportunities and continuously evaluating demand planning methodologies.
