Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or operations management, which is preferred, or a high school diploma or equivalent. Five years of supply chain and/or planning experience managing global supply chain design and logistics management, preferably in the context of clinical program design and execution, are required, with four years of experience accepted with an advanced degree. A strong understanding of clinical supply requirements, phases of clinical development, and the factors that influence study designs is also desired.

Responsibilities

The Senior Demand Planner will independently lead the design, implementation, interpretation, and review of an inventory management plan to forecast supply plan of study drugs to global and sophisticated clinical trials, utilizing sound supply chain techniques. They will ensure the plans are robust and optimize global and regional supply strategies to guarantee continuity of patient supply in the most effective and efficient manner. The role involves serving as an informal leader within the team, proactively improving processes, tools, and resources, and providing mentorship and guidance to new hires and less experienced planners. They will contribute to User Requirement Specifications for the IRT medication management module, participate in User Acceptance Testing, review IRT strategy to support supply plans, and partner with project management teams and customers to facilitate effective supply chain planning. Additionally, the Senior Demand Planner will establish and maintain financial forecasts and monthly billing processes for assigned complex client projects, and ensure temperature excursion processes are performed as required.
