Knowledge of food safety, food freshness, and product handling policies and procedures

Provide high level of customer service: answer questions, recommend deli items, handle calls, take special orders
Slice, package, weigh deli products (cheeses, meats); help Members select products; sample products; prepare special orders and party trays
Receive and inspect deli shipments; display, stock, rotate, and store products following policies
Ensure products are fresh and meet quality standards; check for out-of-date products daily and follow disposal procedures
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli department, inside and out
Support club policies, procedures, and compliance; escalate concerns as appropriate
Deliver GOLD club standards: ensure fast, friendly, full, fresh, clean presentation; execute promotional plans and accurate signage
Act with honesty, integrity, and member focus; resolve and deescalate member concerns; ensure safe and positive environment
