Preferred qualifications include an advanced degree in a quantitative field, extensive knowledge of statistical methods like causal inference, experimental design, and Bayesian inference, and advanced skills in R or Python with experience in machine learning models.

Responsibilities

The Decision Scientist II will collaborate with product management, engineering, design, and marketing teams to drive product roadmap development, prioritization, and planning. They will transform insights into decisive actions and product enhancements, providing business teams with actionable insights and investigating issues to empower leadership decisions. Responsibilities include defining KPIs, creating reports and dashboards, identifying opportunities for user acquisition and ROI optimization, and turning ambiguous questions into clear analytical problems. The role involves designing, executing, and analyzing experiments to solve complex business problems, becoming deeply familiar with product data, and creating visualizations, documentation, and presentations to communicate insights to stakeholders and executives.
