Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience as Debitorenbuchhalter (m/w/d)
  • Strong affinity for accounting and ability to handle complex and new tasks
  • Team player with independent and conscientious working style
  • Confident handling of common accounting software and ideally ERP systems (e.g., SAP, DATEV or similar)
  • Very good knowledge of MS Excel and general IT understanding, as many processes are tool-supported
  • Strong communication skills, especially in exchanges with banks, customers, and internal teams
  • German at minimum C1 level and good English skills

Responsibilities

  • Daily booking of customer payment receipts in the prepaid and intercompany areas, in close coordination with bank accounting
  • Active maintenance and clarification of open items
  • Monthly processing of chargebacks from small customers
  • Under-monthly dunning process and targeted follow-up on unpaid invoices to prevent overdue receivables
  • Representation of colleagues in the accounts receivable area as needed
  • Processing of customer complaints and internal prioritization for quick resolution
  • Allocation of payment receipts, maintenance of open items, processing of dunning notices, and handling customer inquiries
