Why This Role is Exciting

AuditBoard is seeking a Deal Desk Analyst to join our Global Deal Desk team. This role is integral to our Sales Field Organization, serving as a trusted and recognized business partner. The Deal Desk Analyst will be instrumental in supporting all commercial activities, including deal structuring and pricing, contract creation, and the review and approval of quotes. You will also provide essential support to the Sales Field on AuditBoard’s quoting tools.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert guidance to the Sales field and Customer Success on deal structuring, pricing, redlining, and contract management.
  • Participate in deal reviews with Sales/Sales Leadership to influence account-level strategy on pricing and deal structuring.
  • Ensure deals are structured and processed efficiently, adhering to company policies.
  • Review, interpret, and confirm contract terms and conditions, collaborating closely with finance and legal teams to ensure contract accuracy and compliance with internal policies.
  • Draft, modify, and finalize contracts for new, add-on, and upsell business for Cloud Subscription Services.
  • Review and approve deals for AuditBoard customers and prospects.
  • Anticipate issues and proactively resolve them using professional judgment, company policies, and procedures.
  • Address day-to-day queries from Sales and Account Management teams regarding AuditBoard’s quoting tools and/or CRM system.
  • Participate in testing to support quoting tool enhancements as requested.
  • Support Sales enablement through new hire training initiatives and ad hoc training requests.
  • Independently drive efficiency and process improvements.
  • Support commercial projects on an as-needed basis.

Attributes for a Successful Candidate

  • Requires a 4-year college degree.
  • A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Deal Desk within a SaaS company.
  • A bias towards velocity.
  • A "Customer First" perspective and ethos.
  • Experience supporting global / multinational customers and deals.
  • Outstanding business partnering skills – ability to interact positively with the Sales Field and influence business outcomes.
  • Excellent understanding of most Deal Support/Commercial topics (pricing, deal structuring, contracting, etc.); familiarity with SaaS revenue recognition policies is a plus.
  • Excellent understanding of commercial terms and conditions.
  • Ability to acquire knowledge of our products and the value they provide to AuditBoard's Customers.
  • Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of AuditBoard’s corporate goals and objectives and consider these within the design of offers.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, complete activities, and meet deadlines on a daily basis.

Preferred Skills

  • Proficiency with computer applications such as Google Suite, Slack, Windows, Excel, and Word.
  • CRM systems experience – AuditBoard, SFDC, and CPQ experience are a plus.
