Candidates should have meaningful experience as a data scientist partnering with business functions such as Marketing, GTM, Sales, and Marketing Operations. Expertise in SQL and at least one scripting language (Python or R) is required, along with comfort in transforming raw data and communicating insights effectively. Strong communication and collaboration skills are necessary, as is a bias for using the right tools for efficiency and making tradeoffs between speed and accuracy. Experience working directly with Marketing, Sales, and other GTM teams, background at a high-growth B2B SaaS startup, and familiarity with Notion are considered nice-to-haves.
The Data Scientist will partner with Marketing leads to drive data science and analytics work, transforming complex data into compelling insights and crisp narratives for senior leadership. They will build and maintain KPI dashboards and self-service tools, develop models for optimizing marketing outreach strategies and forecasting, and collaborate with Data Engineering and Business Systems teams to build high-fidelity customer data pipelines.
