Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree and practical business experience in data analysis, with a Master's degree in a quantitative field being a plus. A minimum of 3-6 years of experience in analytics or marketing analytics is required, preferably in B2C and eCommerce. Proficiency with web analytics tools like Adobe Analytics and Amplitude is strongly preferred, along with expertise in A/B and multivariate testing, experimental design, and statistical hypothesis testing. A good understanding of Microsoft Excel, SQL, Python or RStudio, visualization tools, and Big Data tools such as Hadoop and Hive is necessary. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are also essential.

Responsibilities

The Data Science Engineer will assess, interpret, and analyze data to understand customer behavior on Adobe.com, and review test hypotheses, assist with test plans, define success metrics, and analyze test results. They will use experimental design to optimize website and marketing activities, apply analytics tools like Adobe Marketing Cloud to analyze test results, and provide recommendations to aid marketing decisions. Responsibilities also include partnering with Marketing to identify key visitor segments, working with team members to integrate insights from various analyses, and enhancing customer experience across Adobe.com touchpoints.
