Responsibilities

The Data Lead will gather requirements from stakeholders, collaborate with data engineers and external partners, and improve the structure of the BI environment. Responsibilities include ensuring data collection, storage, and governance facilitate easier, faster, and more reliable reporting and analytics. This role involves writing specs, validating outputs, tracking progress with data engineers, coordinating data exchange processes with external partners, and overseeing quality standards. The Data Lead will build and maintain dashboards, review and improve BI/reporting structures, optimize workflows, automate reporting processes, establish best practices, and provide ad-hoc data support including query execution, anomaly investigations, and troubleshooting. Lightweight adjustments to pipelines, scheduling, or BI models may also be required.
