Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Applications, Information Systems, or Engineering. They should have experience building high-performance and scalable distributed systems, as well as expertise in ETL and ELT workflow management. Familiarity with continuous data movement, streaming, and messaging, particularly with Kafka as a distributed messaging system, is also required, including experience with Kafka producer and consumer APIs.

Responsibilities

The Data Engineer will be responsible for building data provisioning frameworks, integrating data into data warehouses, data marts, and other analytical repositories. They will also integrate analytical results into operational systems, develop data lakes and other data archival stores, and optimally leverage data integration tool components to create efficient solutions for data management, data wrangling, data packaging, and integration. Additionally, they will develop the overall design and determine the division of labor across various architectural components, and deploy and customize standard architecture components.
