Delivery Manager - Gaming Client

Position Overview

Mindera is seeking a Delivery Manager with a strong technical background to join our world-class team. In this role, you will leverage your experience with Agile methodologies and a deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to lead a team of developers. You will be instrumental in crafting solutions for a high-profile video gaming client, actively participating in the product life cycle. This includes gathering and refining playable requirements, defining solutions in close collaboration with development and business teams, and ensuring constant progress and alignment through effective stakeholder communication. We are looking for individuals who have prior experience working with development teams and can serve as the primary point of contact for clients and business stakeholders.

Expected Travel: 0%-15% (UK and USA, varies by project/client). You will be working with teams across different time zones and locations.

Requirements

  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of experience as a Delivery Lead/Manager, Project Manager, or Producer in a fast-paced environment.
    • 3-5 years of experience in domains such as interactive media, SaaS, cloud infrastructure, or analytics-driven platforms.
    • 3-5 years of experience directly working with engineering teams.
  • Methodologies: Strong applied understanding of Agile methodologies.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong, demonstrable knowledge of data concepts (raw streaming data, data modeling, metadata, etc.).
    • Strong ability to work with engineers to scope, size, and break down work based on requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Coach the team on Scrum principles and practices, fostering a clear vision and self-management.
  • Manage team resources to ensure effective participation in agile events and commitment to assigned work.
  • Mitigate risks and issues proactively.
  • Identify, track, and drive the resolution of blocking issues, impediments, and non-engineering action items.
  • Coordinate cross-project dependency, milestone, and release management activities with other Delivery Managers.
  • Facilitate the triage of incoming customer tickets through ServiceNow.
  • Manage the Sprint Backlog in Jira.
  • Drive change requests for any committed work during a Quarter.
  • Establish and drive successful release communications.
  • Drive program-level performance reporting, visibility, and transparency to internal and external leadership.
