Requirements

Candidates should possess 7+ years in analytics or data science roles with a focus on Finance, preferably with SaaS or usage-based experience, and demonstrate deep hands-on expertise with dbt (production-grade models, testing, and CI/CD) and Snowflake (performance tuning, RBAC, and cost management). Advanced SQL and Python skills, including pandas, scipy/statsmodels, or Prophet, are required, along with a strong understanding of SaaS/cloud unit economics—MRR/ARR, COGS allocation, gross margin, payback, LTV/CAC, and cohort retention. Furthermore, candidates must have demonstrated success in building usage-based pricing and forecasting frameworks from raw event data, and be comfortable communicating insights to executive audiences and collaborating with engineers on data details. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field is also required.

Responsibilities

The Finance Data Analyst will build and maintain dbt models in Snowflake to translate raw product telemetry into ARR, margin, and unit-economics views, forecast revenue and costs using Python-driven Monte Carlo and statistical models, run variance and root-cause analyses to explain plan-vs-actual variances, simulate pricing and packaging changes in partnership with Product Monetization, automate financial reporting by delivering self-serve dashboards, elevate data quality by defining testing, reconciliation, and data-quality SLAs, and mentor analysts and engineers on dbt design patterns, Snowflake optimization, and Python analytical tooling.
