Requirements

Bachelor of Science Degree in Science or Engineering related subject areas
5-10 years of business/operations management or manufacturing experience
Mastery of an array of Lean Tools and DBS Fundamentals for over 5 years
Hands-on Gemba experience driving kaizen facilitation and leadership using DBS and lean tools (Visual Daily Management, Problem Solving Process, Value Stream Mapping, Dynamic Kanban, Lean Conversion, Standard Work, 5S, TPM, SMED, etc.)
Strong analytical skills
MS Excel proficiency
SAP knowledge
Strong interpersonal, managerial, and facilitation skills, including public speaking and moderating

Responsibilities

Develop the site’s DBS Strategy and Vision as a change facilitator
Collaborate with other site DBSLs and operation leadership to transform and support a continuous improvement culture, driving positive organizational change
Facilitate and conduct kaizens, problem-solving, and boot camps in DBS Fundamentals and DBS Lean tools
Manage the kaizen funnel tool and certified practitioner funnel to strengthen connections between customer-facing metrics and continuous process improvement efforts
Influence all levels of the organization, including Senior Leaders, Functional Leaders, project Managers, and practitioners, using effective coaching and mentoring skills to foster a supportive environment for growth and improvement
Grow the DBS muscle by establishing a team of certified practitioners in DBS and driving Lean Conversion across the operations with organizational partners
Champion the implementation of DBS Fundamentals and Lean methodologies at Gemba, generating advancements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost
