Animal Health experience and knowledge of dairy genetics industry preferred
In-depth product and disease knowledge
Experience with Dairy Comp, DHI Plus, Bovisync, PC Dart or other herd management software
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and online applications
Valid driver's license
Willingness to travel to customer locations across defined geography, including nights away from home, primarily in California with focus on other regions
Ability to be on site at farm or facility if needed
Responsibilities
Aligning with Field Force on newly established Genetics accounts to successfully onboard customers with the Genetics ordering process and results reporting
Utilizing excellent presentation skills to conduct educational training that will build trust with customers through developing reliability, credibility and follow-up
Managing a broad geographic area with a diverse customer base to achieve genetic sales targets and objectives
Providing regional support to dairy farmers utilizing Dairy Genetic testing, including training, onboarding of the genetics testing process, and troubleshooting to ensure customers maximize the impact of the technology
Incorporating marketing activation related to the genetics platform
Sharing, collaborating and acting as a team player
Performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned and directed
Developing skills required for future sales and/or marketing roles, as directed by Marketing Lead
