Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or an equivalent engineering degree. A minimum of 5 years of experience in customer support and service is required. Strong understanding of mobile application development and support, including Android/iOS application development and the use of development and instrumentation tools like Android Studio and Xcode for troubleshooting, is essential. Experience with Java/related programming languages, scripting languages, and SQL database querying is necessary. Basic understanding of SaaS-based delivery models and excellent communication and collaboration skills are also required. Familiarity with mobile application security and experience in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities are advantageous.

Responsibilities

The Customer Support Engineer will provide technical support for Zimperium's Mobile Application Protection solution suite, acting as the technical expert for customers. Responsibilities include researching, diagnosing, and resolving customer-raised issues in a timely manner, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction through regular updates, and taking ownership of reported customer problems to ensure resolution within defined SLAs. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot complex technical issues, performing crash analysis, and developing and maintaining technical documentation such as troubleshooting guides and knowledge base articles. Staying updated with the latest advancements in mobile application development and support is also a key responsibility.
