Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required, along with 3+ years of experience in mobile QA automation for both iOS and Android. Candidates must have strong hands-on experience with automation tools such as Appium, XCUITest, Espresso, WebdriverIO, Playwright, TestNG, or JUnit, and proficiency in Java, Kotlin, Swift, or JavaScript for writing automation scripts. Familiarity with mobile build tools like Gradle, Xcode, and UI Automator, experience with mobile emulators, simulators, and real device testing, and experience integrating test automation in CI/CD environments are necessary. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication and documentation skills, and a proactive, detail-oriented, and collaborative team player attitude are also essential.

Responsibilities

The Mobile QA Automation Engineer will develop and maintain automated test scripts for native iOS and Android applications, and design and implement a mobile test automation framework. Responsibilities include integrating mobile automation into CI/CD pipelines, collaborating with QA and development teams to define test strategies and improve test coverage, and writing and maintaining test plans, test cases, and test data. The role involves logging and tracking software defects with clear, reproducible steps, running automated tests on simulators, emulators, and real devices, providing feedback on testability during feature planning and development, and researching, evaluating, and adopting new test tools and frameworks as needed.
