Responsibilities

The Customer Success Technical Architect will act as a trusted technical advisor to customers, ensuring their success, retention, and expansion by providing technical guidance and best practices for the Confluent product suite. This role involves partnering with internal teams to accelerate customer time to value, maximize product consumption, and achieve business objectives. Responsibilities include advising on architectures, patterns, and strategies for operating and maturing Confluent subscriptions, guiding customers on achieving business goals through Confluent investments, and championing customer needs internally. The architect will identify and address technical objections, proactively support customers through technical lifecycle activities like architecture planning, cluster and security design, monitoring, automation, and upgrade/migration plans. They will also guide customers on advanced technical topics, present periodic customer reviews, document and transfer knowledge, influence product roadmaps based on customer environments, and assist with customer issues alongside technical support and engineering teams.
