Candidates must be eligible for a DOD Secret Security Clearance, possess four (4) years’ experience or three (3) years with an Associate’s degree or Military background, and have experience in customer service and responding to requests for information, with contact center experience preferred. Proficiency in both oral and written communication, typing at least 30 WPM, and experience as a data entry clerk are also required.
As a Customer Service Representative, the individual will act as the first step in multi-tiered support to Military Sailors and their families, investigating and resolving customer inquiries via various channels such as phone, e-fax, email, chat, and other communications. They will utilize essential software applications, enter supporting information into systems, receive training on military programs, and work towards opportunities for growth within the call center, including potential roles as Shift Supervisors or team assignments. The role also involves working in a fast-paced environment and demonstrating the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
