Candidates must reside in Tennessee and live within 75 miles of the Specialty location in Bartlett, TN. They require one year of experience in a customer service role handling and resolving a high volume of complex customer needs over the phone, one year of work experience with Windows-based applications, and one year of computer keyboarding experience. A verifiable high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with healthcare work experience and familiarity with benefits, insurance, prescriptions, and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

As a Pharmacy Service Representative, the individual will provide telephone support to patients receiving life-sustaining specialty drug therapy, coordinating and processing new patient medication orders and reorders, verifying and reverifying benefits, translating and entering prescriptions, collecting copay amounts, obtaining authorizations, and working with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to screen, identify, resolve, and defer orders. They will also communicate and ensure that financial and clinical expectations are met prior to fulfillment, demonstrating compassionate and genuine care for patients and customers in a fast-paced environment.
