Requirements

  • Typically requires a 4-year degree and 2–4 years of industry experience in customer service, sales, buying, planning, or procurement
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be fluent in English
  • Knowledge of ERP systems: Oracle, Salesforce, and/or SAP

Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall account relationship and the day-to-day sales activities by providing service and support to the assigned customer base
  • Work with internal and external resources, facilitating the work of others in quoting, fulfilling demand, and troubleshooting other customer requirements
  • Own the overall Quote to Order Processes and order preparation for specified customers, coordinate resources and processing of quotations, work with management to set pricing
  • Work with appropriate supplier contacts and internal departments to solve pre-sales and post-sales problems, provide proactive notification to customer of changes to delivery status
  • Act as liaison between sales team—ensures returns, invoicing, credit, shipping issues, etc. are resolved in a timely fashion
  • Perform ongoing Sales Support activities for the Order to Invoice process
  • Own & Maintain Perfect Order Index (POI) and Inventory integrity to minimize write offs/bill backs
