About the Role: Muon Space is committed to delivering dependable Earth observation services to our customers. As a Lead Customer Operations Engineer, you’ll work at the intersection of mission operations and customer engagement—ensuring seamless delivery of data, rapid troubleshooting, and scalable support systems. You’ll be instrumental in building a customer-first operations culture.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted technical liaison for customer operations—owning onboarding, escalations, and mission support.
  • Build and maintain Python-based tools and scripts to automate repetitive tasks and monitor system health.
  • Interface with APIs to connect our ground systems and customer platforms.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and mission teams to improve internal workflows and customer transparency.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in operations, support engineering, or systems integration.
  • Proficiency with Python scripting and working with REST or GraphQL APIs.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to troubleshoot complex systems across domains.
  • Bonus: experience with satellite ground systems, telemetry tooling, or customer SLAs.
