Requirements

  • Ability to act as the primary point of contact and "face" of WeWork, supporting multiple buildings as required
  • Capacity to report to Community Management team and take direction from Community Lead and Community Manager
  • Illustrate WeWork’s core values while working towards the company mission
  • Warm and welcoming demeanor for greeting members and guests
  • Ability to learn names of members and guests to build relationships
  • Skill in anticipating member and guest needs using collected information for personalized experiences
  • Knowledge of WeWork policies, procedures, guest policy, community etiquette, and building-specific forms (e.g., pet forms, filming requests, bike room requests)
  • Proficiency with tools like Welkio iPad, Spacestation or equivalent system, and WeWork member network
  • Capability to provide feedback on events, evaluate based on attendance/satisfaction/impact, and promote events (e.g., create/post posters)
  • Knowledge of local resources (restaurants, delivery, catering, venues, post office, shipping, supplies)

Responsibilities

  • Cover the front desk during business hours as on-site point of contact at member floor or Community Bar
  • Greet members and guests warmly
  • Ensure guests sign in via Welkio iPad per guest policy
  • Keep front desk clean and organized; notify members of food deliveries/couriers
  • Answer questions on way-finding, policies, procedures, and community etiquette
  • Ensure building-specific forms are up to date
  • Provide feedback on event programming, evaluate events, celebrate member milestones with gifts/notes
  • Distribute event info, create/post weekly and individual event posters, ensure operational requirements (e.g., elevators, HVAC)
  • Input member notes into Spacestation or equivalent; identify opportunities to connect members
  • Be active on WeWork member network; write/send broadcasts on building updates
  • Ensure appropriate music levels and activations
  • Receive, process, sort, organize mail; keep mailroom clean
  • Locate/issue posts via regional system; handle "Return to Sender" for unclaimed mail after 30 days
  • Ensure courier parcels have correct details; investigate/escalate/resolve lost packages
  • Track, audit, and organize collected keys
  • Build welcoming community through events and relationships
  • Ensure building is fully operational with efficient processes
  • Drive growth and promotion of WeWork services
