Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, with Chemical or Mechanical Engineering preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years related experience in a similar position and organization, preferably with control valves experience or in the oil and gas industry, power plant, or chemical industry
  • Previous experience in order fulfillment
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary customer contact throughout each order, ensuring on-time delivery, profit and loss accountability, and customer satisfaction
  • Develop close relationships with customers, end users, and partners to understand needs and resolve specification and commercial issues
  • Practice formal order/project management methodologies, develop robust order/project plans with cross-functional teams, lead order/project meetings, manage risks, and coordinate multiple departments such as Engineering, Procurement, and Finance
  • Work closely with commercial functions to support preparation of proposals for customers to win orders/projects and build solutions meeting technical, commercial, and delivery requirements
  • Monitor financial and operational performance against plans, manage budgets and costs, negotiate change orders to optimize margins, and ensure timely identification of margin variances to implement mitigation plans
  • Ensure on-time delivery percentage, sales margin, customer feedback scores, and project closeouts
  • Utilize systems such as SAP, Microsoft Project, and Alfresco to support order/project execution and documentation
