Previous experience as a Business Development Specialist within a related industry is required, along with proficiency in integrated business management and CRM software, such as Salesforce. Advanced knowledge of business development, marketing strategies, and brand expansion is also necessary, as is the ability to analyze market trends and competitor behavior.
The Business Development Specialist will analyze and expand business operations toward sustained growth, monitor revenue streams and identify opportunities to increase profitability, evaluate and improve sales, marketing, and branding strategies, and identify new clients by researching and creating networking opportunities. They will also perform competitor analysis to obtain an increased market share, develop client relationships and strengthen industry partnerships, negotiate and close business deals that promote sustained revenue, liaise with Sales, Marketing, and Management to align strategies aimed at increasing revenue, assess and advise on potential joint ventures, mergers, and acquisitions, and maintain strong interpersonal and communication skills.
