Requirements

  • 3-5 years of extensive experience with cruise sales using a consultative sales approach
  • Proven ability to be resourceful and to learn new systems
  • Strong attention to detail, being highly organized and showing the ability to multi-task
  • Experience in building FIT packages servicing high-touch clientele (beneficial)
  • Sound knowledge of Mediterranean, European River Cruises and/or Expedition cruising
  • Experience in meeting and exceeding monthly sales targets (preferred)
  • Expert in client relationship building specifically with high-touch clients
  • Ability to resolve problems independently in a timely manner
  • Passionate traveler and cruise expert with extensive travel knowledge in destinations, especially multiple types of cruise travel
  • Fabulous storyteller who shares expertise passionately through warm phone presence and professional email communications
  • High performer as a trusted advisor, account manager, and entrepreneur who can follow leads, entice clients, close sales, and guarantee satisfaction

  • Creating high-touch, personalized experiences for customers
  • Providing expert cruise travel advice from initial conversations
  • Sourcing availability, quoting, and finalizing bookings with contracted cruise lines
  • Working closely with high-end customers to create the ultimate travel package
  • Crafting approach creatively, negotiating, handling objections, and identifying additional business opportunities
  • Ensuring all clients return home having had a trip which exceeds their expectations
