Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Law, Computer Science or other related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • 8 or more years of experience in commercial real estate lending, credit analysis, and business development
  • Proven ability to develop and manage large and complex new business relationships
  • Excellent relationship management, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • In-depth understanding of local real estate markets
  • Strong financial and analytical skills with ability to underwrite and structure commercial real estate credits
  • In-depth knowledge of cash management products
  • Knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations relating to commercial lending and appraisal guidelines
  • Willingness to travel 20%

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a portfolio of new and existing large, complex real estate relationships consisting of income producing and construction loans
  • Actively market a broad range of bank services to meet complex customer needs
  • Negotiate loan terms and conditions within scope of authority
  • Prepare and present credit analysis and recommendations on borrowing requests
  • Conduct credit reviews to ensure compliance with policies and regulations
  • Perform ongoing credit risk management through daily monitoring of the loan portfolio and ensure proper risk rating
  • Monitor all credits through periodic reviews and analysis
  • Create awareness of the Bank and its services through community activity
  • Coach and mentor less experienced CRE Relationship and Portfolio Managers
  • Comply with policies, procedures, security requirements, and government regulations
