Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (technical engineering degree or business degree preferred)
  • 1-3 years of related experience
  • Ability to understand technical drawings and documents
  • Outstanding decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently and in a team environment, with little to no supervision
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Analyze customer technical data to estimate and prepare detailed manufacturing cost information in support of quote activities
  • Meet with manufacturing sites to validate cost estimates with site management and engineering staff, gaining site agreement on true manufacturing costs and ensuring quote consistency
  • Determine optimum manufacturing cost solutions for new business opportunities, targeting lowest total cost to Plexus for competitive pricing to customers
  • Ensure product costs are sensible across manufacturing sites to represent a “One Plexus” solution to customers
