Job Description

Salary: $100,000 - $135,000 annually, plus equity.

Location Type: Fully Remote (with optional office presence in Bay Area, NYC)

The Role

We are seeking exceptionally motivated new graduates to join our high-performing team. This entry-level position comes with high expectations. You will collaborate with senior engineers, who will challenge you to grow rapidly and assume significant responsibilities from day one.

Arize AI is a fully remote company with optional offices in the Bay Area and New York City.

What You’ll Work On

As part of the core team driving AI product innovation at Arize, you will:

  • Gain insights into how leading engineering teams develop AI and LLM-powered applications.
  • Contribute to building the tools that enable these teams to excel.
  • Develop product solutions including:
    • Clean APIs for application instrumentation.
    • Interactive playgrounds for prompt engineering and agent development.
    • Scalable real-time evaluation infrastructure capable of handling millions of annotations per second.

Our primary codebase is in Go, with additional work in Python, Java, and TypeScript. This role offers the opportunity to tackle complex technical challenges such as:

  • Computing model evaluation metrics across billions of data points.
  • Creating AI Agents to assist customers in troubleshooting their applications.
  • Building on a cutting-edge custom OLAP database.
  • Implementing advanced dimensionality reduction techniques.
  • Developing systems that process millions of annotations per second.

What Will Set You Apart

  • First-hand experience with large language models (LLMs) or developing AI products.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary and variable compensation for this role ranges from $100,000 to $135,000, in addition to a competitive equity package. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as transferable work experience, skill sets, and qualifications.
