Requirements

  • BS/BA from a college or university with a focus in Business Administration, Sales and Marketing, Business Management, Agronomy or related experience
  • Strong consultative selling skills combined with experience in development of National Accounts
  • Strong managerial perspective and excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
  • Highly motivated, mature, positive individual who is very customer and team oriented, with the ability to positively support corporate and business objectives, strategies and policies
  • Self-starter, with ability to function with minimum supervision
  • Preferred: MBA
  • Preferred: Manager experience
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States (no sponsorship available)

Responsibilities

  • Leads Toro’s efforts with corporate account customers including strategic and key account customers for all Toro divisions
  • Develops, in concert with the Director of Corporate Accounts, strategic plans and tactics for key accounts that impact Toro’s business opportunities in critical target markets
  • Defines resources necessary to execute and achieve plan
  • Develops and refines cross-divisional selling and support strategies for all corporate accounts, communicating, coordinating and training others in these activities
  • Works closely with other corporate account managers and divisional sales and marketing staffs to ensure attainment of corporate account objectives
  • Integrates corporate and multi-business business development and relationship efforts with Corporate Accounts and ensures horizontal integration across all Toro businesses
  • Collaborates with key internal and external executives on business strategy to determine objectives, evaluate current business performance and maximize business reach and potential
  • Identifies and continuously upgrades the strategy/account screening criteria used by Toro for selecting and penetrating key accounts. Makes recommendations concerning this strategy to appropriate senior management
  • Develops annual revenue and support objectives for identified accounts and ensures internal departments and external channel partners are actively engaged in assisting Corporate Accounts in meeting those objectives
  • Closes new business deals by coordinating divisional business requirements
  • Develops and negotiates contracts, integrating contract requirements with business operations
  • Maintains excellent working relationships with key clients so that the business can maximize and leverage the value of those relationships
  • Focuses on relationship creation with corporate accounts, key market influencers, divisional team leaders and Toro executive leadership team
  • Anticipates competitive activity, strategy and new products and their impact on The Toro Company’s industry/market position
  • Maintains contact with selected industry related organizations to help identify and keep abreast of trends and industry changes and others as appropriate
