Position Overview

CrowdStrike, a global leader in cybersecurity, is seeking a results-driven Corporate Account Executive (CAE) to join our team in Malaysia. This role is responsible for driving new business opportunities and acquiring new customer logos within a specific territory in Malaysia. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, technologically savvy, and adept at building internal relationships and external partnerships to effectively penetrate the market.

About the Role

As a CAE, you will be instrumental in building business across a portfolio of accounts. You will need to possess excellent energy and drive, the ability to build effective relationships quickly, understand business challenges, and communicate complex information clearly and transparently. This position is based in Malaysia.

Responsibilities

  • Actively engage prospective customers to identify new business opportunities.
  • Manage a sophisticated end-to-end sales process, from prospecting to closure.
  • Collaborate with Sales Engineers (SEs) to develop and execute account strategies and plans.
  • Work with Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to establish pipeline-building activities.
  • Forecast and report sales updates to the management team.
  • Develop expertise within the Cyber Security Industry and become proficient in CrowdStrike products.
  • Stay informed about the CrowdStrike competitive landscape and effectively articulate the value of our solutions and services against competitors in the Next Generation Endpoint market.
  • Exceed established targets and quotas through a proactive and driven approach.
  • Manage existing customer success, including subscription renewals and cross-sell/up-sell opportunities.

Requirements

  • Proven sales experience, including cold calling and generating net new business.
  • Demonstrated experience selling complex, multi-product architectures to C-level executives and technical evaluators.
  • A track record of exceeding expectations in an individual, quota-carrying sales role.
  • Strong technical aptitude and the ability to quickly learn new business and technical concepts.
  • Persistence: A tenacious approach to overcoming objections.
  • Coachability: Willingness to seek and utilize guidance.
  • Charisma: Ability to leverage interpersonal skills effectively.
